Many cultural activities have been instituted in the Gurukulam to provide
an ambience for the expression of creative energy in the students and
nurturing artistic and other finer skills, helping them evolve into
multi-faceted and talented individuals.
Sri Nataraja Kala Parishad (Students' Forums)
Sri Nataraja Kala Parishad (SNKP), the student's programme has been
established to facilitate this development in the students. Under this
umbrella are:
- English Literary Forum,
- Tamil Literary Forum,
- Hindi Forum,
- Science Forum,
- Maths Forum,
Open air Theatre
- Yoga Forum,
- Dance Forum,
- Song Forum,
- Drama Forum,
- Drawing and Handicraft Forum.
The deep rooted talents, ideas, qualities are given
a chance of expression through these activities. The students are also
responsible for the functioning of these forum.
The Gurukulam also has a quiz forum to encourage the students to develop
a comprehensive and wide knowledge in various areas.

Due to the emphasis on the extra-curruculum activities, the students
manage to produce demonstration, dance and drama on cultural themes
using traditional and modern art forms. The programmes produced
during the Annual Day at the Gurukulam, over the years
have made a reputation, with grand costumes and
detailed depiction of stories of historical and cultural significance.
This event is extremely popular among the students, parents and visitors

Saraswathi Samskrithi Samiti
Goddess Saraswathi
To evolve positive character formation and
to promote excellence in the academic, social, cultural activities
of the students, Saraswathi Samskrithi Samiti (SSS) was started.
It plays a vital role by organising regular cultural classes for
the children.
This samiti features Audio, Video Programmes, Articles from Newspapers,
Magazines and periodicals, Group Discussions and Garden Dinners.
Swami Vivekananda Gurukula Students Parliament To develop an all round personality of the students, Swami
Vivekananda Gurukula students parliament has been formed. By
this parliament system, the students are enriched with duty
consciousness and responsibility. There are ministries to monitor
the various activities of the Gurukulam, manned and managed
by the students themselves. The student Ministers take oath
to play a vital role in making themselves a model for other
Gurukula students.
